Volunteer positions*
- Serve as a Board Director*
  – This Board raises funds in support of projects and programs for the City of Winnipeg Libraries
  – The Board meets the third Tuesday of the month (except during July and December) between 3:30 pm and 6 pm.
  – We review operational needs, make decisions on funding expenditures and plan events
  – Board members are encouraged to assist with fundraising events that occur on weekends
  *Include in your résumé any previous board experience.
- Book Sales Preparation at St. James Library
  –Familiarity with various book categories needed
  –Includes sorting, pricing, and packing donated books
  –Involves lifting, reaching and carrying boxes
PRIVACY: Personal information collected will be used for the placement of volunteers with the Friends of the Winnipeg Public Library. We reserve the right to publish volunteer’s name and/or photos pertaining to Friends of the Winnipeg Public Library’s activities and events.
